Dive into the wonderful puzzle that is relief printmaking! Taught by Liz Gates, students will be introduced to design development, plate preparation, carving techniques, and printing with a press for relief printmaking using linoleum slabs. By the end of the course, students will gain an understanding of reductive image-making and the process of printing on paper using a press. Additionally, students will receive one free pass for an Open Studio reservation to continue printing at Red Bird.
No experience required; All levels are welcome
