Studio monitor membership

The Studio Monitor Membership is a reduced-cost membership option for artists who want to be more deeply involved in the Red Bird Press community while helping support the day-to-day operations of the studio.

This program is designed as an exchange of access and participation - not employment - and is best suited for artists who are excited to spend regular time in the space and contribute to its upkeep.

Studio MONITOR Member

Our Studio Monitor Members are integral to building connection within our community. We rely on them to lead and inspire others, educate guests and members, and help us keep the shop in order.

Red Bird Press is committed to creating a supportive and transparent environment for artists. This program is one of several ways we aim to keep our space accessible while sustaining the studio.

HOW TO APPLY

While the Studio Monitor Membership is not an employment position, it does involve contributing to the shared operations of the studio. For that reason, we ask interested artists to complete a short application and participate in a brief conversation with our team.

This process helps ensure that the program is a good mutual fit in terms of availability, communication, and alignment with Red Bird Press’s community values. We are a small, community-driven space, and we approach this process as a way to build a supportive and collaborative environment for everyone involved.

To apply, begin by reviewing the requirements, expectations, and perks listed above to see if you’re a good fit. Afterward, review and compile the application requirements listed below and e-mail them to chirp@redbirdpresshtx.org with the subject line, “Studio Monitor Application.”

Our team will review each application in full and reach out individually for an interview based on meeting the qualifications described above and submission of a complete application.
