In this letterpress demo we will become acquainted with various applications to create engaging multi-colored variable print posters on the Vandercook press. Gaby Hurtado-Ramos will demonstrate how to combine elements of design and bold text using Red Bird Press's beautiful wood type collection in variable printed layers. Examples on how to prepare a basic lock-up for printing, applying various inks to a single form, and split fountain inking will be covered.
